End of the world?!!?!?

On Thursday (keep in mind, the time difference), dust covered Dubai and visibility was reduced to 1,500 meters. "Lack of rain in the northern Gulf this year" is said to be the cause. The haze blew in from Iraq and Kuwait via the northwesterly winds. Also, "A marine warning was issued on Thursday as winds of 25 knots churned up 10-foot high waves offshore." They are expecting the haze to clear today with a change in wind direction. Temperatures however, are expected to be 40-41C (104~106F) which is on the upper end for Dubai, especially this far into September.
