To encourage better use of water and electricity, Dubai has begun "a recent campaign for the Best Consumer Award, which recognizes the consumer who achieves the highest savings in electricity and water consumption by offering cash prizes worth AED 22,000. The move was aimed at encouraging major consumers in Dubai to use less water and power."
