No more bachelor pads!

Dubai is cracking down on the landlords of flats for bachelors. The flats are often times partitioned in order to create space, and as many as 20 people have been reported to live in such places. This creates issues of safety and fire hazards. A fine of up to DH50,000 can be issued to the landlords found in violation of the rules, and the fine can be doubled if the landlord is found in violation more than once
